Jonathan Jacobson is a dedicated leader and community advocate running for State Representative for the 148th State House District. With a passion for public service and a deep commitment to making a difference in the lives of others, Jonathan is determined to represent the voices of his constituents with integrity, compassion, and determination.

Raised in Stamford, Jonathan has deep roots in the community and a profound understanding of the issues facing our neighborhood. From a young age, Jonathan demonstrated a strong sense of civic responsibility and a desire to create positive change, which has guided his path to public service.

A local attorney who has served on the Board of Representatives since 2016, Jonathan brings his skills and expertise as an accomplished lawmaker to his candidacy, equipping him with the knowledge and experience needed to effectively address the diverse needs of our community. Whether advocating for greater transparency and accountability in our elected officials or championing environmental initiatives such as Stamford’s plastic bag, plastic straw, and Styrofoam ordinances, Jonathan has proven to be a tireless advocate for progress and justice.

As State Representative, Jonathan is committed to promoting honesty, transparency, and accountability in our elected government, and will work tirelessly to ensure that every resident of our community has a voice in the decisions that impact their lives. 

Outside of politics, Jonathan practices law as a civil litigator with a focus on assisting individuals and small businesses in Fairfield County. When he is not working or serving on the Board of Representatives, Jonathan enjoys hiking and spending time with his wife Lauren, their son Ezra, and dog Chewbacca.
